Analab analyzes approximately 70,000 forage and feedstuff samples per year and has instrumental and wet chemistry capabilities allowing us to maintain in-house calibrations.
Microbiology
Analab’s microbiology department can detect bacterias, molds, and yeasts that could be causing problems on your operation.
Research & Development
Since 1993, Analab has continuously maintained live artificial rumens used for digestibility analyses and product development.
About Analab
ANALAB is a premier state-of-the-art laboratory and research facility operated by an innovative, pioneering team of professional chemists and microbiologists who interpret analytical data and provide solutions through testing.
Through the Years...
1972 – ANALAB was established to test feedstuff samples to personalize livestock feeding rations.
1981 – A state-of-the-art facility was built to ensure quality controlled analyses.
1993 – ANALAB was the first and only laboratory in the world to have continuously maintained live artificial rumens for critical analyses, such as IVDMD. Those rumens are still viable today.
2008 – ANALAB's facilities were completely renovated which enabled us to expand our research capabilities.
Our Goal
Today, our professional staff is seeking answers to gain understanding in these areas:
Unraveling the complex interaction of minerals. What is the relationship of each mineral to another and how does this interaction affect energy and protein utilization?
Utilizing molecular technology to determine the most effective bacteria and enzymes in forage fermentation, preservation and Direct Fed Microbial (DFM) feed additives.
Optimizing feed efficiency for a cleaner environment via reducing animal waste.
Determining impact of proportions and types of end products of fermentations on absorption and efficient utilization of nutrients.
Experience & Quality Control
Annually, more than 1 Million analyses are completed by ANALAB professionals utilizing standard wet chemical procedures and/or instrumentation analyses of 70,000 feedstuff samples worldwide.
ANALAB develops and continually cross-checks and updates with standard chemical procedures for ANALAB's NIR calibration set to reflect ever-changing genetics and environmental growing conditions.
Impressive 24-hour turnaround for 90% of feedstuff samples so you receive analyses (including fiber content and digestibility) in a timely fashion that makes results useful!
Since 1972, ANALAB has maintained active quality testing programs that monitor daily operations. Clients are assured official standard tests are performed accurately, promptly and economically.
